In the intricate tapestry of human existence, nutrition plays a pivotal role, encompassing both the material sustenance we consume and the spiritual nourishment that enriches our soul and mind.
What is Food?
Humans have two types of nutrition:
1. Material Nutrition: This includes the inputs that we consciously introduce into our bodies through our five senses. These are:
- Foods ingested through the mouth.
- Scents received through the sense of smell and the nose, such as perfumes.
- Visual inputs, like colors and landscapes.
- Auditory inputs, such as sounds and music.
- Inputs received through the skin, such as fabrics, clothing, and cosmetic products.
2. Spiritual Nutrition: This includes thoughts, memories, truths, and insights that have a direct impact on our body, soul, and mind. Naturally, consuming unhealthy food harms these three aspects, whereas consuming good, healthy and pure food helps rejuvenate our body, soul, and mind.
The Greatest Blessing
The greatest blessing for a wise person is the health of both body and soul, which can be achieved through healthy and natural nutrition. A healthy mind is in a healthy body. Therefore, it is essential to understand the structure of the human body and the type of nutrition it requires.
Humans Are Beings with Two Dimensions: the soul and the body.
Understanding each dimension requires separate fields of knowledge, just as each dimension requires specific nutrition. Therefore, it is best to provide the highest quality nourishment for both dimensions. The purpose of our existence in this world is to attain divine love and knowledge of God. To achieve this, we need self-awareness and the performance of good deeds.
The most important meals are breakfast and dinner.
